How do you repair IE in WinXP SP2? I can not find the iesetup.exe and there
is no listing for IE in control panel.

The bigger problem I am having is that some kind of infection has hijacked
my Yahoo page and dammaged the search function of WinXP SP2 home (Build
2600.xpsp_2_gdr.050301-1519).

There are no restore points for me to go back to and since this is
(unfortunately) a Dell, there is no disk to do a repair with.

I have searched (manually) the directory, the registry...everywhere...I can
not find the culprit of the hijacked page or can think of a way to repair the
dammage to WinXP. I am hoping someone here has encountered a similar problem.

In WinXP SP2, you repair (reinstall, actually) IE by reinstalling SP2. But
if hijackware's your problem (and it is), repairing/reinstalling won't help
because Windows is what's infected, not IE.
