When Outlook starts it seems fine. When I click on any of the features - Inbox, Calendar, Tasks, etc. - the view pane on the right flashs the feature I am looking for then a website (Ask Jeeves) is displayed. If I right click the feature and choose open in a new window, the view pane is fine. Help! How do I stop this? Thank you. (Note: Virus scan is not showing up anything and I have restricted Active-X to be disabled {I think}).

Tim - I appreciate your reply. Because of another thread
("Inbox hijacked by spyware"), I decided that your
solution would not work. But, I still appreciate the
reply.

I did get Ask Jeeves to stop. Here is what I did:
1 - Searched the whole computer for a file with the
string "ask.com" (It showed in the address window on
Outlook)
2 - Only one file was found on the system - Eshop.xml.
3 - I renamed the file (so I can put it back if needed).
4 - Restarted and now the issue is gone.

However, this did not really fix the problem. I just
broke the link so that the website doesn't start. It
still tries to start. Does anyone know how to fix the
root of the problem, because actually now we have another
problem. Whenever Outlook starts, Word also starts (and
we have reply that we agree to the license). Maybe they
are different issues.

I'd say first right click on the folders, go to
properties, and check out the home page listed, and make
sure it looks "right" (i.e. not ask.com).
If so, I'd suggest downloading and running both/either Ad-
Aware 6 and/or SpyBot S&D, both easily available from
download.com.
