Hijacked search engine

My IE search engine changed on me. It happened when I had
IE 5.5 and did not resolve when I upgraded to IE 6.0. When
I click on the search button, it shows only advertisements
as choices to search, and when I enter a search topic,
only commercialized results come up (i.e. the results are
all trying to sell me something). Any ideas?

Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new message.
