Anyone have any experience with a website called
searchmadesafe.net? It has somehow installed itself as my
default search engine -- HP tech support (the OEM I am
stuck with) has no answers. I can't reset the search
page. It is not a catastrophe, just annoying. Any help
send a note to me at (e-mail address removed). Thanks -- J

do a search for a program called SPYBOT, it's shareware
and should remove the hijacker's code

SpyBot Search and Destroy is freeware.
it worked for me.... you can also purchase a upgraded
version , that worth it

I have never heard of a shareware nor purchase upgrade to SpyBot.
hope it work-I know it will) - also a program called
ADAWARE works well with it

Ad-Aware does work well.

That's an adware/spyware parasite!

You may be able to remove this pest with Ad-aware or SpyBot Search & Destroy.

Ad-aware here: http://www.lavasoft.de/res/aaw6.exe

SpyBot: http://studserver.uni-dortmund.de/~su1669/spybotsd12.exe

Jim Byrd has the answer; find his post. He sent me to

It takes time but it really works!

If you see Jim tell him I said thanks.
