Here are links to a Hijackthis tutorial and to sites where you can post
your HJT logs and get expert help. The gurus at the Aumha forums are
particularly friendly and very knowledgeable.

Thanks Malke. This was very helpful. One more question about this forum...How
do I respond directly to the person that has replied without posting in the
forum (i.e. e-mail). That way I won't have to post off-topic items like this
one....

BTW, like your line....I have a problem with authority although I pretend to
be compliant...

Me too...$-0

Heh heh. Actually, you normally don't want to respond directly to a
poster by email unless they have specifically indicated they will
accept an email. They might indicate their preference by providing a
munged email (you should never post your unmunged address) or by not
providing, or saying "no email". For instance, I don't provide an email
address because I don't want direct email. I've learned over the years
that one gets some very much unwanted contact that way.

You see, this isn't a forum. Since you are using the web interface, you
may not realize that this is really a newsgroup. You will get far more
out of this resource if you learn to use a newsreader. There are many
good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use Outlook Express since you
already have it. Here are some links to information about newsgroups to
broaden your posting pleasure!
