Yes ...

remove AVG (HJT thinks it's insecure, & so do I) and

get HJT to fix ...

I don't know that site mucks, so i'll fix that site in HJT. Is that one and only thing that looks suspect? :-)

I realise you don't usually do HJT threads, so I appreciate you having a look. I must have caught you in a good mood! ;-)

Good mood? :p Your length of time here is enough for me to have a looksee, if, however, I did see some really bad stuff, I'd be sending you over to BC PDQ. ;)

As for AVG, I'm equally serious ... the free version is really crap, for some reason the paid-for is really good ... you pays your money.


You seem very jumpy about your security lately, you been opening elicit emails & visiting bad websites ? :D

Haha, thanks Mucks. I have been around for a while, it's a great site!! :-)

I'll have a think about AVG, may pay for the full version.

I've never had any issues about security and never had a virus etc. However, I fixed my friends hard drive and fear I contracted a virus from him because some weird things were happening. I just want to get my computer back to a state where I know it's virus free and i'll be happy. I'm off round the world soon, so leaving laptop at home, but i'm putting all my photos and music onto an external WD 250Gb passport, so don't want to take any nasties away with me on that. :-)

Havn't been doing anything dodgy, promise!! :-)
