As I said in your thread from YESTERDAY on this same topic, very few (if
any) stand-alone DVD players support the HighMAT CDs created by WMM2. In
particular, I don't see any Panasonic DVD players at
http://panasonic.com/highmat with HighMAT/video (WMV9) support
("compatibility with audio files and JPEG still image files").

Take a careful look at the logos at http://www.highmat.com/wheretogetit/ and
compare to what you find on your DVD player; you'll find that your HighMAT
logo is "audio*image" (aka "level 2") and does not include "video".

This is an old topic; see http://papajohn.org for more details.

Is there a patch or removal tool for getting rid of HIGHmat format?
it does not work for any players so can't we get rid of it?

I should imagine the code takes up a few Kb of space so I wouldn't worry
about it.
All windows pc's will play it.
A stand alone dvd player needs to be Himat compatible.

DO you also want to remove dvix/xvid/quicktime/mjpeg/jpeg as dvd players
aren't normally able to play these?
