I have a slide with one table in it.

I want to hightlight a couple of rows in the table.

I thought that I could add an effect to make them bold. But I can't.
Powerpoint seems to see the table as a single element. The "Emphasis"
effects are either greyed-out (such as bold) or apply to the whole table
(such as grow/shrink).

Is there any way to highlight a part of table in PP 2007?

Cheers.

Bobby,
You could copy the table paste it back in as an enhanced metafile and
ungroup the table a couple of times, that will split up the table in
individual objects. Those objects can be regrouped as needed. For the rows
that need to be bolded you would select the individual textboxes and apply
the emphasis effect you want. Then if the whole row is to be emphasized in
one go, format them to come in with previous so one click would reveal the
whole row.

As Luc indicates it's harder to ungroup tables in 2007> The method works fine
but I now use this instead which you might like to try as well. Draw a
rectangle over the row / coloumn and set its fill to yellow and about 75%
transparent. Animate this to enter using a fade or wipe.
