Highlighting a file in Vista

When I highlight a file in Windows Explorer, the highlight is so faint that
I can hardly see it! Is there a way to darken the highlight? Thank you

Click on Start Button, click on Control Panel, click on the Personalization
icon. click on Windows Color and Appearance, and go down to Open Classic
Appearance Properties for more color options and use anything except Windows
Aero, and this will fix the problem.
