Highlighted mail folder too light when selected

How do I change the color of the highlight when I select a mail folder? The 3
color schemes for Office 2007 all have the same light tan highlight which is
not visible. The only workaround was using the High Contrast Windows Classic
Accessibility option but the result was unacceptible. Is there an XML setting
in "Default Outlook Profile.xml" I could modify?
 
No, not possible.
Are you sure you have set your contrast or brightness settings on your
monitor to a sufficient level? Resetting it to factory defaults or choosing
a different monitor pre-set (depending on your monitor) could give you a
better picture.
