Highlighted Inbox Msg Changes Status By Itself

In Outlook 2002 SP3. I can create and place several msgs into my outbox by
typing them out and pressing the send button at the top of the message.

But when I go to the Inbox folder to view the messages waiting to be sent
the folder opens and the highlighted message at the top of the list of items
to be sent changes it's status from the SEND icon to the open icon without
any action from me. If i move the highlighted bar down to the messages below
it the SEND status is also changed on each msg.

Just by highlighting a message in the Outbox will change its status so it
won't send. If I open the message press the send button again it will que it
up to SEND status. But if it gets highlighted it will revert out and won't
send.

Any Ideas??? Thanks! Bruce

More Info: I've used Outlook 2002 for years on an old machine. This is a new
machine and a new installation. Old installation did not have this problem.
Both machines show same Version Number.

The most common cause of this behavior is an Outlook add-in that's doing something to each item you select. If you don't want to spend the time to hunt down which add-in, just don't go to the Outbox folder.

Messages waiting to be sent aren't in the Inbox, so there's no way you can
see them from the Inbox.
