Greetings to you all from "old" Europe,
Some time ago I used a very convenient little tool which was coloring a
folder/key in the left pane of regedit with a different color. Vista's
colors are too subdued for me.
Could someone help me in finding it back or something equivalent, something
simple, not a NPP.
Thanks in avdance

It was probably a third-party program that is used as an alternative
to regedit. You might try Googling "regedit alternative".

I don't know what an NPP is, but Registry Workshop has a much darker selection colour.

Greetings,
I have found exactly what I was looking for, a tiny little tools which
colors in green the selection (left pane) in regedit. Simple, efficinet,
but (sorry for that...) it's French. Nobody's perfect.
RegDir http://www.ptorris.com/rapido.php#regdir
Works well, no installation
Keep well
