When capturing video, which setting should I select if I intend to burn the
final product to DVD? The "recommended" setting doesn't look very good when
I display it full size on my monitor.

I edited my recent holiday film (captured on Canon DC 210 DV camera) and
saved it on Movie Maker to my computer with .avi
The quality when reviewing on the PC was superb but as I soon as I burned it
to DVD and played it on my TV the loss of quality in the picture was very
disappointing. what can I do to minimalize the loss of quality when burning?
(I know myway around the PC but I am not a big expert..so any advice given
pls give in relaitive simple languauge. I thank anyone for advice
