Hiding unused programs

I'm using a new PC running Windows XP Home Edition SP1. Got a
question.

I remember that Windows ME had a feature that hid start menu programs
that you didn't use very much. To see them, you clicked a triangle. This
feature is common with Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel.
Anyway, is this feature available with XP?

Yes. Right-click the Start button > Properties > Start Menu >
Customize > "Use personalized menus".

Ah, I see. But first you must switch over to the Classic Windows
Start Menu.
