Hiding the Pointer

Hi Folks

Was wondering if there is an option (somewhere) to have powerpoint
automatically hide the pointer in a presentation instead of always having to
remember to right click on the running presentation to access pointer
options and choosing "hidden". The default is "Automatic" but I would
prefer the default in my case to be "hidden"

Thanks, in advance

Thanks for the quick reply. So what you are saying is that here is no way
to set the default to hidden, such as a registry tweak?

Thanks, Clark

Well, with a slightly different flavoring. ;-)

A is a toggle to show/hide the arrow. But when displayed, the arrow will
hide automatically after several seconds of being idle. When hidden, a
movement of the mouse can bring it back. Say, you bump the mouse... oops,
there's the arrow.

CTRL+H hides the arrow and it stays hidden. Move the mouse... nothing.
CTRL+U sets it back to normal.

Actually, CTRL+H/CTRL+U is a mode selector and A is a toggle.

Use CTRL+H and then the A toggle to show/hide the arrow where is stays or
hides full-time. Neither mouse movement nor idle time will affect it.

Use CTRL+U (or default show mode) and then the A toggle to show/hide the
arrow momentarily. Mouse movement or idle time will cause it to again show
or hide, respectively.

There's one for a trivia question that no one will ever care about. ;-)
