Hiding the database window

Sorry ! I mailed you direct instead of throuth the newsgroup - here goes
again.

I would be very grateful if you will send me the code to prevent users
opening a database while holding down the Shift key.

I am battling to learn VBA and have been trying to achieve this for some
time.

Hi Ray,

in the vb editor use online help to search either
for 'disable shift' or 'AllowByPassKey Property'. You are
then able to use the example code given.

i got your email, ray. tried to send you a copy of the
setup that i sent to stacy to answer her inquiry from
