Someone can point em to a good documentation about performance analisys?
I have special problems understanding some perfmon counters and how to
troublehsoot Paged/NonPaged issues.
I really would like to learn more about these knowledge areas. Maybe i can
turn ito a new Mark Russinovich (a genius!) (-:
In facty, now, i have a great problem in my hand, about a Win2003 Std, 64
Bits on a IBM x3550, 4 Gb of RAM with 300.000 files and 250 users connected
to the File Server and suffering from terrible performance problems. In
certain days of the month, when all users are involved in updating docs in
the server, the server looks like a "Crawling System" insted a "Operating
System"
The Physical Net is OK, 100 Mb/s full duplex with Cisco Switches (2900
series) and HP/BroadComm on the Desktops. All is working fine, in the
standards expected in the wires.
