I have a program that I want to run all the time.
The program is one that does research with the idle
cycles of my CPU. The exact one is the Fold@home
(http://folding.stanford.edu). I have downloaded the
command line version (but can use others if necessary)
becuse I don't need the frills of the others. I know how
to get them to run automatically when I log in. My
problem is that it puts an item in the taskbar (not the
notification area where the clock is). If I close this,
it closes the program.
My question is how do I start this program and not
get a taskbar item to display?
Thanks in advance,
Keith
