I would like the user to be able to access a page, but no be able to see a
directory of pages on the web.

Thanks

Don't put any links on that page and that's all they'll see, as long as you have an index page in the root, and one in any other folders that are browsable they won't see other pages.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if I worded my question correctly. I
will list an example. If someone wants they can goto
http://www.theneedleshop.net/images/ without typing in a page and see all my
images. I believe there is a way that if someone types in that path, they
would either see nothing or be redirected to the home page. I also think it
is just some quick setting, like hide directories or something like that, I
just can't remember where that is.

Thanks

Have your host disable "directory browsing."

you can also create a index page in /images/ and have it say No Browsing allowed...or have the host disable directory browsing.
