Hiding columns in datasheet view

I've noticed that when a user hides a column in datasheet view (or resizes
the column down to zero length, effectively the same thing), that it records
the change and affects other users. I've tried turning off form design
modifcation permission, but Access is still remembering the hiding of columns.

I would like to allow users to resize/hide columns, but I don't want their
changes to effect other users.

Sounds as though you are all using the same database, instead of a Front End
/ Back End split. If so you could risk much worse than people redesigning
the datasheets - they could scramble the database!
