I use windows movie maker to create short movies saved in windows media
format. When I play the player (version 9), at the bottom of its screen, it
shows my name (author: Koz Kozravani). How can I hide it? Does hiding it has
to do with movie maker or media player? Thanks for any feedback. Koz

Hi Koz --

I'm not aware of a way to hide it *after* you've published your video, but
you can edit the properties in Movie Maker such that it doesn't set the
author metadata.

Here's how:
1. Launch Movie maker
2. Choose "File" / "Open Project" and open the *.mswmm file.
3. Choose "File" / "Properties"
4. Edit the "Author" field, and choose "OK"
5. Choose "File" / "Save Movie File" and publish your video.

Hope this helps!

After publishing one can edit the movie properties using Windows Media
Encoder utilitity:
Windows Media File Editor.
