Hide system tray

Hi,

How can I hide the notification area / system tray in windows 2000 like
the policy in XP?

Policy setting for the most part are registry settings. There just isn't one
for Windows 2000

And can you hide items in the system tray.
Hide not disable.

Depends on the object. Some are switchable via Control Panel; others may
have the option via the application interface or look at your options with
tweakui
