For some reason I am unable to show/hide taskbar items
(those displayed in right-hand corner). I right-click on
the taskbar and select properties. I then check the "Hide
inactive icons" and click the "Customize..." button. Some
of the icons I change to be displayed all the time while
others are to "Hide when inactive". I press OK, OK but
those icons I want to be displayed all the time are not
visible (some are and some are not). The bar that permits
the Showing/Hiding of icons is not available to
expand/shrink the taskbar. I have WinXP on 5 of my other
computers and this is the only one that is having this
problem. It is a Dell Inspiron 8000.
