hide/show advanced timeline

Is there any way to have the "show advanced timeline" as the default behavior
instead of the reverse?

Or to Microsoft: how about a show/hide timeline icon next to reorder. That
would save me about 100 right clicks every time I use the program.

I really like the new ribbons in 2007!!!
