"Hide Protected operating system files" option is not shown underfolder option View menu

There is NO option on my machine to set "Show Hidden Files and
Folders"
under Control Panel > Folder Options > View > Advanced Settings.

There is NO option on my machine to set "Show Hidden Files and

under Windows Explorer >Tools > Folder Options > View > Advanced
Settings.

How to recover this option plz find a way & mail me at
(e-mail address removed)
