Hide navigation buttons?

In slideshow mode, is there any way you may hide the transparent navigation
buttons in the lower left corner? I've created a hyperlinked presentation
with specially designed buttons so they seems a little superfluous...

Hi,

2003: Tools| Options| View tab| uncheck Show popup toolbar.
2007: Microsoft Office button| PowerPoint Options| Advanced tab| Slideshow
section| uncheck Show popup toolbar.

This is specific to your installation and may not transfer to other
machines.
