Hide inactive icons

The hide inactive icons feature in the system tray is not working. All the
icons stay active. I have checked the custimization page and they are set to
hide when inactive and the hide inactive icons button is checked on the
taskbar page. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

"Icons - Notification Area - Chevron Missing".
