Hide from taskbar

I've selected the checkbox to hide the application from the taskbar, but the
icon is still there. How can I get rid of the icon without shutting off the
program.
 
Hi Will

Choose to hide it again (Open Microsoft Antispyware > Options > Settings >
General > Check the box next to Hide From System Tray) Press Save then click
OK

Next either reboot the pc or right click the Microsoft Antispyware icon in
the system tray and choose 'Shutdown Microsoft Antispyware' then click Yes on
the confirmation Pop Up, Goto Start Menu then All Programs and restart
Microsoft Antispyware, It should then load without the icon.

Done what you say, but when it does a automatic scan when it is finished the
icon gose to the system tray. Brian North Wales
 
Hi Brian,

That does look like a bug which needs fixing, I didnt get that far when I
checked but I can see what you mean, it looks like you may have to shutdown
the Antispyware again after the scan and restart it to hide the icon,
Hopefully the MS Team can repair it at some stage.
