Does anyone have a link to the freeware version of Hide Files 2.3? Any
help would be appreciated.

The link that "oldfart" posted, although it saids version 2.3, it's not.
You download the shareware 3.3 version from the home site (Spydex). They
have done a good job of deleting all traces of the last freeware version
2.3. However, I was able to find this one on CoMa's site called DMagic.
It is now up to version 9.06, only 266 kb, and as far as I can tell, it is
still freeware.

You are right, all the 2.3 freeware versions seem to be gone. I had
the file but the little joyride I took with PCI CloneMaxx destroyed
about 200 files I had saved. Thanks for your help.

You might want to look at www.fspro.net for Hide Folders. There is a
freeware version which works quite well, but limits the number of folders
you can hide. The pay version gives you more folders, but since I put all my
"secret stuff" in one folder it works OK for me.
 
I have the Hide Files 2.3 freeware program. If anyone wants it let me
know. It is a relatively small file. The program is fantastic though.
