Hide Control Panel Icon

I wish to hide the Control Panel icon from one or more users.

Is this possible and, if so, how?

Do you want to restrict users from opening Control Panel? Or hide an applet in Control Panel ?

Hi Glynn,

Use the NoControlPanel Policy setting.

NoControlPanel:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...s/2000/server/reskit/en-us/regentry/93226.asp

1. None of the Control Panel applets (*.CPL) will run
2. Users cannot open Control Panel
3. Control Panel link will be removed from XP Start Menu
