It seems it is not possible to hide completed tasks on
the Outlook's (2003) Today screen. Does anyone solved
this?

I know how to hide completed tasks in the Task view. I
know how to customize Today screen. But I do not know how
to make it together.

This must be very common problem, is not it?

Ondrej

I have searched for a way to do it for hours today (I'm using Outlook 2002) and can't find a way to do it. I have filtered my task list to hide completed tasks and, like you, can't believe that you can't do it or that the filter doesn't transfer to the Outlook Today page.

Anybody out there find a way to do it?

I have been looking for this too! It is driving me crazy
I click "completed" but it stays on outlook today no matter HOW I filter, no matter HOW I apply things..

Seems outlook 2002 didn't have that problem, as other outlooks have it working ok

Try this out: it appears that Outlook goes through and determines what goes on Outlook Today once a day (say, at midnight). The problems I was have were all the same day that I was setting up Outlook

However, I have only done TWO things and this morning my prior completed tasks were removed
1) I got the OFFICE UPDATES, updating Outlook (even though it says it is a junk email filter
2) I waited until today

Note: as evidence, I'll point out that those tasks I have checked off TODAY (i.e. at 12:30 a.m., a little after midnight) are STILL THERE, but the stuff I checked off YESTERDAY is gone

I don't know if I'm right but I hope this helps!
