When trying to shutdown the system hangs with a message that
HIDDENFAXWINDOW can not shut down ?????

HiddenFaxWindow seems to be from the Fax service. Disable the Fax service,
if you have no need of it. Or uninstall Fax Services.

I've disabled the Fax service and all seems OK, god knows how the setting
had changed (it was automatic) thanks
