Hidden Source Data

I have a simple finance sheet, which provides the source
data for a line chart. When I hide rows on the finance
sheet, the chart ceases to use those rows as source data.
I want to be able to hide old rows, without it impacting
the chart - is this possible?

Hi Elaine,

Select the chart. Goto menus Tools > Options
On the Chart tab uncheck the 'Plot visible cells only'

You should now be able to hide data nad not alter the chart.
