hidden programs

Everytime I shut down IE and wait a few minutes then start
it back up I get a program called"IIC21E2.exe" that trys
to access the internet. There are several different exe's
that do this and I can not find them on my hard drives.
Norton says I am clean and I cant find the programs on my
hard drive. Has anyone else encountered this problem????

These days most of us are recommending HijackThis to identify and assist in
the removal of these bad guys. Post your files to the forum mentioned on
the first URL above.

(Get a fresh copy of CWS Shredder before each use. It's updated
frequently.)

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on do both once-a-day.
