Hidden menu lists

How can I use FP to create opening menu lists like those on the left (in
which hovering over "Access Database" opens up a list of options to the right
of that category?
I'd like to create a drop down list for my top menu bar.

Having to guess a little here, since newsreaders don't have drop down
menus on the left, so I cannot see what you are looking at...
