1) There is a hidden macro in my presentation that I want
to find and delete. I think it happened when I was
testing out inserting a calendar but then deleted it. Now
the prompt when opening asks if the user wants to
disable... How to find this and get rid of this message?
I've checked each slide carefully by "selecting all"...

2) How do I insert a .mov file (short movie from my Cannon
camera)?

Caroline,
For number one, check out this FAQ entry:
How do I GET RID OF MACROS I've added?

For number two, probably need some more information. What happens when you do
a Insert --> Movies and Sounds? What version of PPT?
If it's 2000, this FAQ entry might help:
Unable to Insert a Movie from the Selected File
