Hi

I would like to know how to access hidden files.A while a
go Purity scan was installed on our PC, it seemed to be
causing a problem so we deleted it in Add/Remove
programs, however when we start up the outline of it
still appears..only briefly.
We have tried to find it in the seach facility but it
shows no sign..it also states that it is not looking in
hidden files/folders.

Any ideas

Thanks Jules

To view hidden files and folders: My Computer, Tools,
Folder Options, View. Check "Show hidden files and
folders". However, I think your problem is leftover
references to the deleted program in the registry. Hopes
this helps.

Or from the command line in the directory type
attrib *.*

It would be worth your while to download, install, and scan with spyware
removal tools such as Spybot S&D and/or Ad-aware. Purity Scan is
malware and you probably have more of the like on your system. The
spyware removal programs will find all the references and remove them.

More files are unhidden if you untick 'Hide protected operating system
files (Recommended)'
