Hi,

Presently, I have a Trojan in my email archive, which was detected by
Bitdefender, but couldn't be accessed, by that software, and get deleted in
the archive. This is mainly due to the fact that I also don't see my Hidden
Files. I shall be grateful if I could receive your help for restoring my
hidden file settings. The Foldersettings.reg download didn't fix the problem.

Shams

The setting to view hidden files is in Folder Options/View tab, in control
panel.

I just don't see the normal view with all the options. When I click the
Folder Options, a window appears with all the Registered File Types. As I
said, I can't access the hidden Files. Perhaps, the trojan has changed my
registry settings.

I would try running SFC

start. run, type:
SFC /SCANNOW

If that does not help, open Regedit.exe. Navigate to the following branch:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder

From the File menu, choose Export and save the branch to a REG file.

Copy the REG file contents and include it in your reply.

Dear Ramesh,

Would it be possible to give me an email address so I could simply attach
