My temporary internet files contains several files and folders that I am not
able to show. How can I get access to them and delete them? (the settings
are: show all files)
Thank You

Open windows explorer, click on Tools, Folder Options. Click on the view
tab. Halfway down the first screen you will see af folder called hidden
files and folders, click on show hidden files and folders. that should do
it.

I'm sorry it doesn't. When I open the folder or if I uses the search tool to
search the folder I find nothing. But when I open the folder properties it
tells me that it is 18 folders and over 1000 files in it.
(excuse my english)
Thanks again.

Assuming you have windows XP,

1.Open internet explorer, go to tools, internet options, under general tab
hit the delete button and put a check mark in the delete offline files, hit
ok then go back to delete files and hit ok, delete cookies. Now hit the
setting button go to view files If there are no files in here you have been
successful.

2.Double click 'my computer' go to your local disk usually it is the C
drive, double click on it, then go to Documents and settings, double click
on it, go to your user account, double click on it, (go to tools and folder
options, and under view, scroll down to confirm, that show hidden files and
folders is checked. hit ok,) go to local settings double click on it, you
will see two folders,
1. Temp, open it and delete contents
2. Temporary Internet files open it and delete contents.
Trusting this will resolve your issue.

It looks like their all gone, but the properties of the folder tells me
something different. And even Norton finds and identyfies a threat. Do others
have unreachable files that only shows in properties. (I have even tried in
security mode)
God bless you all

To expose all hidden files and folders: Start/Control Panel/double click
Folder Options icon to open the file/click the View tab/check mark
"Show hidden files and folders"/scroll a little further down and remove
the check mark from "Hide protected operating system files
(recommended)". NOTES: you have make both changes to show them all; you
can also access Folder Options via Windows Explorer if you wish to go
that route.
