Hello. I was just wondering if there is a way to change
the amount of disk space required to hibernate
(preferably with regedit). I would rather not sacrifice a
gig of space on the off chance that I leave a window or
two up.
And another thing, is there any way to schedule my
computer to shutdown at a specific time? That would be
sweet.
Thanks for any advice!

Hi,

The amount of space required for hibernation depends on the amount of RAM (physical memory)
installed on your system. This cannot be changed.

To shutdown your computer at a specific time, you may use the SHUTDOWN.EXE command and set it as a
scheduled task. For more info about the shutdown.exe command, type SHUTDOWN at the command prompt
(Start >> Run CMD).

My idea is:

By using "compression", it is absolutely possible in cutting down the size
of the file!
Maybe it needs to wait some time until MS adopt my idea.
