Hibernation causes Laptop to lose IP address.

When my laptop goes into hibernation, my IP address
resets to a default address. I have to then have to
restart the laptop to connect back to my network. Are
there any settings that keep the IP address after coming
out of hibernation? I am using Windows XP home.
