My wife and I recently set up seperate "user" log-ins so
we could have different desktop items and settings. We
find that since we have done this, we are not able
to "hibernate" the computer, and have only the choice
to "shut down" or "re-start" If anyone could provide a
work-around to this, we would be very grateful.

Best Regards,
Rod

Hi,

Right click on the desktop and select properties. Flip
to the screensaver tab and click on 'power'.
Flip to the 'hibernate' tab and put a check next
to 'Enable hibernation'. Now you should be able to
hibernate from the shutdown menu.

Thanks for the reply, however there is no "hibernate"
option available. I will probably have to re-install
windows XP to get the option back. Again, thanks for your
trouble.
