Hibernate problems

Compaq Presario 700US/ Win XP

When trying to hibernate, there is an error message that
Compaq Easy Access Internet Keyboard is open and
preventing hibernation.

Any suggestions?

If this is the keyboard management program, then it does not need to run
at startup, but only when you want to make kb changes. Open the program
and find a setting to start when windows starts and uncheck that option.
