Hi.. Can you please help me? Few days ago I bought Scarface game. And there is a directX problem and it says: Code: 2156, facility:2166, severity:1
Here are my System Information:
Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1 Build 2600)
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 430 @ 1.80GHz
Memory: 1014MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
Approx. total memory: 256.0 MB
Please help?
 
Hi I noticed that you only have,Memory: 1014MB RAM (1 GB), You might find that if you can upgrade to 2 to 4 GB of RAM your computing and gaming will be much nicer.

sorry to say, but your system is a wee bit old in the tooth, a bit like me, only I'm toothless. :)


XP really needs 1.5 MB ram for itself, so we in the know used to fit 2 MB, ram liked to be in pairs ... it gets a bit stroppy on it's own.

If you can "upgrade" your ram to 2MB, you should find things a bit easier to do. I suggest you use Crucial to help find the ram for you. One cravat, you'll need to know what motherboard you have.
