Where near Shrewsbury did you live Ady, i know the area well as i lived near Shawbury for 5 years.

Well well, small world, it was in fact............................Shawbury! :D
 
Lovely place Shawbury, when i was up that way & first met Mr Feckit, Jet Provosts flew out of it to help the radar trainees learn their trade & also the school of basic rotary wing as well.

Must admit i still like Tern Hill though:thumb:

Yep my Dad used to fly the Provosts for the training - been to Tern Hill too, but have a soft spot for Shawbury as it was where I was born when my Dad was there during a previous posting :thumb:
