Welcome, Kristen, and good luck in your courses. I can see you're new:
what you sent was not an email; it was a newsgroup post. It's not the
same thing. Also, you posted it to a specific newsgroup,
microsoft.public.access, that is devoted to public discussion of the
Microsoft Access database program. We're a friendly and helpful bunch,
for the most part -- though this is a public forum, so you get all
kinds -- but be aware that this is not the place to post test or
off-topic messages. I notice you have followups set to MTCTEST, but
that's not where you posted.
By the way, it's a very bad idea to post to a public newsgroup using
your real e-mail address. Viruses and spammers both harvest e-mail
addresses from newsgroups, swiftly flooding your inbox with unwanted and
potentially dangerous messages.
