Hello Sol, I thought I hadn't noticed your name appearing in the "Who's Online" recently, welcome back. I'm so sorry to hear about your eye problem, a very unpleasant condition and the walking-into-doors part sounds rather painful:nod:

I had really good sight until I hit my forties, then started to become long-sighted - very common, of course, but these days life is a blur without specs or contacts. Do you also find that you miss the little things...?.. such as being able to see (in the mirror) to fish something out of your own eye when you get one of those "Ouch! Something in the eye" moments  And why is it that first thing in the morning, I get up and spend the first ten minutes groping around as I greet the cats and make tea, wondering why the world seems "fuzzy" ... until I take the teas back to the bedroom and hubby helpfully remarks "You're not wearing your glasses, careful, you don't fall over the....." too late.

Hope your vision will stay clear for much longer this time Sol, wishing you the best :thumb: :D

lmao at your messages, yeh its a pain as when the sun shines ime the one with all the curtains closed as i cant even chance a reflection off the tv as last time that happened i couldnt see a thing for over four hours,it can be a nightmare at times but hubby really good-he wears glasses as well or he as blind as a bat so talk about the blind leading the blind lol.they not sure what causes it & as usual theres no cure & total blindness is something that they say might happen but they also not sure on that-do they do poota`s in brail lmao.the only thing that really drives me mad is i never get any warning about it,can be fine one day & the next totally blind & i never know how long its going to last but hey theres worse off than me & ive had new elastic fitted in me jaw so me mouth still working lol.blessings to you all xx
