Hey Jimmy, I know you're a big fan of updating video
drivers.. Explain something to me: I have a GeForce FX
5600. Nvidia just put out it's newest driver 6.1.7.7 for
the XP platform.. DXDIAG sez the driver is NOT digitally
signed and when running direct3D tests, my 'puter is not
happy with that test.. either it exits or BSOD's with a
0x50 or 0x8e. Your response?

Hey Mikey,

Here's my response:

1. New drivers have not had time to pass WHQL tests yet.
2. If your card and driver combination doesn't pass the DX test,
your most likely solution would be to update your Chipset Drivers as per
my website: http://www3.sympatico.ca/nibblesnbits/Video.html#v11
