Is there a utility where I can put in a hax colour code and see the colour
and select a colour by name or from a palate and get the hex code.

I know I can use fp to do this but I would like a separate utility.

Cheers

I found one at
http://lloydhassell.com/colorsampler/colorsampler.html

You can type in a hex value or get a random colour.
You can also select by colour name from a drop down list (quite extensive)
But not all colour names are known to the web.
THE 16 COLOR NAMES SUPPORTED
BY THE W3C HTML 4.0 STANDARD ARE:
aqua
black
blue
fuchsia
gray
green
lime
maroon
navy
olive
purple
red
silver
teal
white
yellow

Lloyd has a few other useful utilities as well

You can also try out Colour Wheel Pro (link on my site). I think there is a
trial version

Thanks heaps

Cheers
Paul

Search for a prog called takecolor once it's running you can 'mouse
over' and color and get hex values, rgb, and html plus a couple of
others I don't understand
