Heuristic Malware Security: Cmpatable?; ADVISE on specific

Hi all;
I am new here and I send friendly greetings as an old times at
Alt Ccomp. Freeware. I have a Dell Dimension 3000 running MS XP with
all the service packs (1,2). Here are a couple of questions.
One: are several of the heuristic behavioral analysis analysis
scanners (malware scanners based on heuristic behavior analysis)
compatable, or could one run them real time together on one machine
without conflicts, crashes and the like? If so, I want some which are
light weight, very intuitive and convenient (I do not want to dig
through layer after layer of boiler plate to configure an
application), and freeware. Right now, i am using MS Windows Defender
and also PC Tools Threatfire running real time together and no
problems, so can i add one or two others? ADVISE.
Two, i have had some trouble removing "ProcessGuard" from my
system. I got it off my add and remove programs file but it remains
in C, and is unremoovable. When I go into search, i can make it come
forth but cannot remove ProcessGuard, because when i try and delete
it there, I get a message as to its internal name. I am told i cannot
delete "DCSUserProt.exe".
I put that name in search and tried to remove it but it was denied. i
put that name in HiJack This and it did not remove.
The program is disabled but it is nagware now. Can someadvise of
a ProcessGuard Remover Engine? If someone knows how to remove it,
would you very kindly send the exact key strokes because I am not a
professional computer user? ADVISE.

1. I would NOT run more than one resident anti-spyware program at a time
- you are asking for trouble. If the two programs you are using are
getting along OK, you are lucky ...I would just pick your favorite and
run that one as resident and turn off real-time protection on the
other(s). If you are looking for recommendations, I like
SUPERAntiSpyware, but the choice is up to you.

2. ProcessGuard is considered to be a legit program, but may be hard to
remove if it has only been partially uninstalled. You most likely cannot
delete DCSUserProt.exe because it is currently being used by what
remains of the program.

If you want to remove ProcessGuard, there should be an uninstall utility
for it and hopefully it will still work. If you're lucky, you should see
this option on your Start Menu under All Programs -> ProcessGuard ->
Uninstall.

If so, boot into Safe Mode, then uninstall. You can boot into Safe Mode
by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until the
Boot Menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then
hit enter.

If you don't see a ProcessGaurd uninstall option (or it doesn't work),
re-install ProcessGaurd, then uninstall it in Safe Mode using the Start
Menu uninstall option (don't use Add/Remove Programs).
